Route Info week 5 (26.1.-1.2.2026)

Monday 26 January.
On the winter hiking route you can walk, cycle, ski, or book a sleigh ride in advance to the main island of Linnansaari. The sleigh ride can be booked by calling or emailing the sales service, or directly through the online shop.

The winter hiking route is open and marked with red snow poles as far as the shipping channel. The end of the route at the channel is marked with crossed poles, and going beyond this point is NOT allowed. At the moment, a total of about 10 km per direction of the winter hiking route is open, from Oravi via Linnansaari to the shipping channel.

On the right-hand side of the walking route there is a classic cross-country ski track from Oravi to Linnansaari, 5 km per direction. Oravi’s equipment rental shop is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm; on other days winter sports equipment can be rented by advance booking. You can buy picnic supplies for the island at the Oravi village shop.
