Route Info week 6 (2.-8.2.2026)

Tuesday 3.2. The winter hiking route for walking, cycling, and skiing is open from Oravi via Linnansaari to the shipping channel (10 km/one way). The route is marked with red snow poles. The end of the route near the shipping channel is marked with crossed poles, and travel beyond this point is NOT allowed.

On the right side of the walking route, there is a traditional cross-country ski track from Oravi to Linnansaari, as well as a kick sled route that was plowed last Thursday (5 km/one way). You can also book a sleigh ride to Linnansaari’s main island in advance. Sleigh rides can be booked by phone or email through the sales service, or directly online.

Oravi equipment rental is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9-17. On other days, winter sports equipment can be rented by advance booking. You can purchase drinks and snacks to the island from the Oravi village shop.
