Linnansaari National Park is located right next to the village, with daily boat transfers departing from Oravi harbour. In winter, a marked winter trekking route to the national park starts directly beside the hotel.
Kolovesi National Park is approximately a 45-minute drive from Oravi, and during the paddling season you can reach it by canoe or kayak via the beautiful Joutenvesi route, starting straight from Oravi harbour.
