Esa Eloranta

On Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm, singer-songwriter Esa Eloranta will perform at Restaurant Ruukinranta. His career began with the band Garbo in 1986. Since then, he has been involved with the groups Kultakurkut and Heartworn. In the 2000s, Esa has mainly released solo albums and written songs for other artists (more than 50 in total). His latest album, Kaikki se valo (“All That Light”), was released in March 2025.

Esa’s gigs are primarily performed in a man-and-guitar format. His set includes plenty of his own material familiar from the radio, as well as great cover songs, including music by Springsteen and Dire Straits.
