Saimaa Harvest festival in Oravi

At the Ruukinranta restaurant, a harvest menu will be served throughout the weekend. Local food products will be available for purchase at the Oravi village store all weekend long.

During the Harvest Festival in Oravi, there will be plenty of activities, including crayfish trap lifting demonstrations, a market event, a freestyle fishing competition by the dock, and live music.

Celebration of Nature’s Bounty – berries, mushrooms, elk from nearby forests.
Fish and crayfish straight from Lake Haukivesi, potatoes from Matti Torpakko’s potato field in Oravi.

Cruise from Savonlinna to Oravi and end of summer season party

Traditional end of summer season party on the last Saturday in September.

You can also get to Oravi from Savonlinna harbour by taking a cruise on m/s Elviira-ship (bus transport back from Oravi to Savonlinna).
