Traditional Finnish Sauna Experience in Linnansaari National Park
Experience an authentic Finnish sauna in the stunning natural surroundings of Linnansaari National Park. Located at the Sammakkoniemi camping area on the main island of Linnansaari, this traditional lakeside sauna offers the perfect place to relax and unwind in the heart of the Finnish Lakeland.
The sauna can be booked online, at the Oravi reception, or at the Linnansaari café. This charming traditional Finnish sauna features a wood-burning stove and a water-heating cauldron, providing a genuine and atmospheric sauna experience.
The sauna also has its own private dock with direct access to swimming in the clean waters of Lake Saimaa. It is an ideal experience for hikers, boaters, nature lovers, and anyone wanting to discover authentic Finnish sauna culture in a national park setting.
Sauna sessions are one hour long, and you may book multiple sessions if needed. The first guests are responsible for heating the sauna themselves, so please allow at least one hour for warming it up. Firewood is available in the wood storage next to the sauna.
The sauna is available for booking from May to October.
