Finlands Nature Day
On the last Saturday of August we celebrate The Nature in Finland as well as spend the Sleep outdoors -night
The best way to celebrate nature is to spend time in the forest. Bring your friends with you or enjoy your own time in the landscapes of Linnansaari National Park.
You can get to Linnansaari by boat or by canoe/kayak. You can rent a canoe, kayak or a rowing boat from Oravi equipment rental office or hop on to a regular boat that leaves from Oravi harbour. Take a look at the detailed program below.
On the 29th of August camping ground in Sammakkoniemi is free of charge for all campers. You are warmly welcome to celebrate with us!

Saturday 29th of August
Boat transfer from Oravi to Linnansaari:
10.00 11.00 12.30 15.00 16.30
You can pay the boat ticket at the reception or online.
You can bring your own tent or rent one (or a hammock with tarp) from Oravi reception. In Linnansaari there are other accommodation options as well: Tentsile Stingray and Eco hostel Log huts. There are a fireplace and an outdoor kitchen for free use.

Regular boat to Linnansaari, round trip ticket 29 e/adult and 15 e/child
Rental tent for 2-3 persons 20 e (pitch the tent yourself)
Hammock + tarp 20 e (pitch the hammock yourself)
Tent place in Sammakkoniemi camping ground free of charge
Log hut 65 e/night (1-4 persons)
Tentsile Stingray 60 e/night (1-3 persons, pre-hung)
