Marked Ice trail- hiking and skiing

A ski trail is groomed on the ice route whenever the weather and ice conditions allows. In strong winds, the ski track on the ice can quickly get covered with snow. On windy days, we recommend the forest trail in Oravi. The starting point of the forest trail is less than a kilometer from the village shop, and you can see the trail route below.

Services

Linnansaari: Pop-up pancake café (check the schedule in the daily log), campfire site, cooking shelter, and dry toilet.
Lake hut: fire place and shelter

Along the route, you’ll find benches and information boards. The ice trails are maintained and regularly monitored for thickness, ensuring a safe and enjoyable winter adventure.
